Data protection declaration

Thank you very much for your interest in our website. The protection of your personal data is very close to our hearts. At this point, therefore, we should like to inform you about data protection in our organisation. Naturally we comply with the legal regulations contained in the Federal Data Protection Act (BDPG), the Telemedia Act (TMG) and other data protection regulations.

You can entrust us with your personal data! They are encrypted by digital safety systems and transmitted to us. Our web pages are protected by technical measures against damage, destruction or unauthorised access.

Subject of the data protection

The subject of the data protection is personal data. In accordance with Article 3 Section 1 BDSG, these are individual items of data regarding the personal or factual relationships of a certain or determinable person. These include, for example, details such as name, postal address, email address or telephone number, as well as usage data such as your IP address where applicable.

Scope of data acquisition and storage

In general it is not necessary for you to give us your personal data in order to use our website. However, we may require your personal data so that we can actually provide our services. This applies both to the sending of information material or ordered goods as well as to the answering of individual enquires.

If you request us to render a service or to send goods, we will acquire and save your personal data only to the extent necessary in order to render the service or handle the contract. To this end it may be necessary to forward your personal data to companies that we use to render the service or handle the contract. These are, for example, transport companies or other service providers.

After the contract has been wound up your data will be blocked and, on expiry of the time limits specified by fiscal and commercial laws, deleted, unless you have expressly consented to further use of the data.

If you have subscribed with your email address to our newsletter, we will also use your email address beyond the execution of the contract for our own advertising purposes, until you cancel your newsletter subscription.

Acquisition and saving of usage data

In order to optimise our website, we collect and save data such as the date and time of visiting the page, the page from which you linked to our page and so on, provided you do not object to this data acquisition and saving. This takes place in anonymised form, without personally identifying the user of the page. If necessary, user profiles will be created by means of a pseudonym. Here, too, no link is established between the natural person behind the pseudonym and the usage data collected. We also use cookies to collect and save the usage data. These are small text files that are saved on your computer and are used to store statistical information such as the operating system and browser that you are using, your IP address, the website you visited immediately before (referrer URL) and the time. We collect these data exclusively for statistical purposes in order to optimise our website still further and make it even more attractive. The collection and saving take place exclusively in anonymised or pseudonymised form and allow no inference to you as a natural person.

Use of the data for a specific purpose

We respect the principle of use of the data for a specific purpose and collect, process and save your personal data only for the purposes for which you have transmitted it to us. Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent if this is not necessary for the rendering of services or the execution of a contract. Transmission to state institutions and authorities who are entitled to information also takes place only within the scope of the legal duty to provide information, or if we are compelled to so by a court judgment.
We also take data protection within our organisation very seriously. Our employees and the service providers commissioned by us are obligated by us to secrecy and compliance with the data protection regulations.

Right to information and rescission

You can obtain information – at any time and free of charge – about your personal data that is stored by us. You can, at any time, have the data that we have collected blocked, corrected or deleted and object to the anonymised or pseudonymised collection and saving of the data for the purposes of optimising our website. You can also, at any time and without giving a reason, rescind the consent you have given us for the collection and use of the data. To do this, use the contact address given in the imprint. We are at your disposal, should you have any further questions about our notes on data protection and the processing of your personal data.

Please note that data protection regulations and data protection management, e.g. at Google, can change on an ongoing basis. It is therefore advisable and necessary to inform yourself on a continuous basis about changes to the legal regulations and the practice of companies such as Google.
